Remind Me by:Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers

First in a tantalizing new trilogy about reigniting a forbidden desire from long ago…

As heiress to a media empire Alessandra Sinclair was raised to put family obligations first. But everything changes the night her first love walks back into her life and turns her whole world upside down. Haunted by the memories of a secret romance with a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, she can't seem to get Hudson Chase out of her mind. Once again torn between two worlds, Allie must decide how much she’s willing to risk to have the love she’s always longed for.

Ten years is a long time to wait, but billionaire Hudson Chase didn’t become CEO of one of the country’s fastest growing companies by giving up on what he wants. Now that he’s got Allie in his sights again, he’s determined to make her regret breaking his heart. And this time, he’s going to make damn sure he’s not so easy to forget.

I have to begin by saying that I liked Remind Me by Ann Marie Walker and Amy Rogers. I enjoyed reading about Alessandra (Allie) Sinclair the prim and proper heiress to her family’s media empire and Hudson Chase who was once just the kid from around the way, who clearly wouldn’t fit in with the Jones’, but is now the king of his own universe as a billionaire tycoon. Their story of their teenage love affair was cute and endearing and it was apparent that Hudson would have done anything to make Allie happy had she given him the chance… well that is if he had the means to do so…and if she hadn’t thrown him shade when her parents were present.

I like the storyline and how they ended up crossing paths again and the instant spark that they both felt when they were reunited. These two had chemistry that fogged up my kindle screen and were humping like rabbits once they finally decided to give zero effes about everything outside of the two of them, like Hudson’s play thang Sofia and Allie’s temperamental fiancĂ©, Julian (that dude is cray) and her parents (what an ending), as they focused on them and all the possibilities that could have and could be between them.

On My Knees by: J. Kenner

Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks continue to thrill in the second novel of a scintillating, emotionally charged new trilogy that returns to the world of J. Kenner's beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me.

I never thought I'd lose control, but his desire took me right to the edge.

Powerful, ambitious, and devastatingly sexy, Jackson Steele was unlike any other man I'd ever known. He went after what he wanted with his whole mind, body, and soul—and I was the woman in his sights. One touch and I surrendered, one night together and I was undone.

Jackson and I had secrets, dark pieces of our pasts that threatened to swallow us both. We couldn't outrun our demons, or the people trying to tear us apart. But in our passion we found salvation, and in each other's arms we found release.

I was scared to trust Jackson fully, to finally let go. Yet no matter the dangers that lay ahead, I knew I was his—and now that we've laid claim, there's no more holding back.

On My Knees is intended for mature audiences.

This was good!!! On My Knees by J. Kenner picked right back up where book one, Say My Name ended. Jackson Steele revealed his familial ties to Damien Stark and the reaction was all of what could have been expected, but slightly quieter on little brother’s part. However, waves were made and emotions were raw as Jackson was just a bag of confessions. From the truth about him not wanting a movie being made about a disturbing excerpt of his life to his secret underground life of street fighting, On My Knees gave you a little of everything that was just everything.

Sex Becomes Her by: Regina Cole

ONE TOUCH

Eliza's last relationship ended in ruins, and she's anything but eager to jump back into something serious. A trip to Hawaii for her best friend's wedding couldn't come at a better time. Showing up without a date is the least of her worries. In fact, it may even play into her wildest fantasies when the perfect hunk of a man appears before her…

ONE LOOK

With Chandler's divorce behind him he's ready to move on, so he heads to Hawaii for his cousin's wedding. The moment his eyes encounter Eliza's sultry curves and sensual lips, he's more than ready for a night of non-stop sex. But despite the heat of their unbridled carnal pleasure, Eliza is still afraid to tell him about her forbidden desires. And when their casual affair follows them home, it threatens to alter their lives forever.

So… about this novel…I can say this was not a favorite of mine. I mean it wasn’t bad and I didn’t hate it nor was it good and I definitely didn’t love it, it was somewhere in the middle. Sex Becomes Her by Regina Cole chronicles the life of Eliza Jackson, a small town girl with big dreams of kink-foolery and Chandler Morse, a recent divorcee who is single and ready to mingle. So, what could go wrong when these two single individuals meet up at a wedding in an exotic location and end up knock-boots? Well, I will tell you what goes wrong; Eliza and her top secret issue-non-issue.

See, Eliza is a pariah in her hometown because she trusted the wrong person, her ex, with her tom-kinkery fantasies and he in turn did the most mature thing possible, tell everyone who would listen to his shenanigans plus some colorful embellishments. As a result, Eliza lives her life as a hermit afraid of herself and getting too close to others. Thus, leading up to all the problems I had with this book.

Idle Bloom by: Jewel E. Ann

"What lies beneath my veiled perfection is the ugly truth—my truth, my reality, my destiny."

Vivian Graham has an acceptance letter into Harvard, a badass tattoo, loyal friends, ties to marijuana, a penchant for Dunkin’ Donuts, and her pesky V-card.

Everyday she takes the Red Line to her job at The Green Pot in Boston while her friends enter the coveted, black iron gates to higher learning. The ramifications from a tragic accident have put her life on hold while time marches on for everyone around her.

After graduating from Harvard Law, Boston native, Oliver Konrad, moves to Portland to start his career and his life. Three years later, after a horrific discovery, he returns home to trade in his three-piece suit for leather work boots and his suburban home for a condo in Cambridge.

All he brought back to the East Coast was an aversion to pillows and secrets he keeps hidden behind a mysterious locked door. Oliver’s days are predictable and his nights are lonely until he meets Vivian on the subway. Her long raven hair, green eyes, and mile-long legs are achingly sexy, but the way she "innocently" fingers and licks her Boston Kreme doughnut can only be described in two words—complete torture.

When their paths cross at every turn, laughter is abundant, friendship is easy, and love is unintentional. However, their future seems improbable.

*This book contains adult situations and explicit content, 17+

It has taken me a few days to write a review after I finished reading Idle Bloom by Jewel E. Ann, because I had a difficult time trying to figure out how I would review a tale that was told so beautifully. I can honestly say I had a book hangover when I was done and even though the story was eloquently written to completion, I still wanted more. I mean, Jewel E. Ann flawlessly introduced me to Vivian Graham, who was a 21-year old, pseudo college student who was as beautiful as she was broken and Oliver Konrad, who was once an attorney, but now on the run from ghosts of his past that left him as a shadow of the man he once was.
